Advanced Abdominal Kriyas
Each morning of our Summer Karma Program is dedicated to powerful purifying abdominal kriyas that will restore your digestive fire and organ function.
You will receive the details of how to perform the practices progressively, effectively and safely, modifying where necessary. You will understand the underlying anatomy and experience the impact of the practices on your digestive function.
Take away the magic tools to maintain inner health and vitality.
Our evening practices will be calming cooling and balancing restorative practices and guided meditations.
Creative Vinyasa Practices
The movement approach of our Summer Karma Program is geared towards
- Aligning your breath and body connection
- Generating inner heat and detoxification
- Flowing dynamic function to help you grow stronger and more functional
- Helping you stay centred through challenge
- Generating 'whole' body awareness
- Playful creativity and sequencing
We practice more with coordinated compound movements to teach the body to move as one again. Where each limb supports the next. This step in re-learning natural intuitive movement is key to moving through life and daily tasks with more ease.
Karma Yoga Philosophy & In depth anatomy workshops
The philosophy workshop and discussion focus of this powerful week will be all around the concept of Karma and cyclic existence, Exploring how we can cultivate right wholesome action on our mat and into our lives, studying together various texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras.
The body wellness workshops take a closer look at our musculoskeletal anatomy and common postural imbalances, including discovering & releasing Psoas, awareness of foot, knee, hip relationship, shoulder mechanics and how to restore correct position and function.
I decided to go after being inspired by a close friend who went previously, and I'm truly happy and grateful I did. I learned so much not only in terms of alignment, technique and anatomy (the workshops were fantastic), but also about the philosophy of yoga as well as meditation. Although I found the week to be physically and emotionally challenging at times (as I expected!), it was also incredibly satisfying on a spiritual level and very transformative for me.

Learning Outcomes:
Advanced Purifying Abdominal Kriya Series
Over 6 sessions you will:
– Learn beneficial purifying abdominal techniques to heal your gut
– Release and restore your respiratory diaphragm
– Strengthen and restore the function of your deepest core supporting muscles
– Detoxify the digestive tract and increase digestive fire
– Increase overall energy, vitality and pranic flow
– Eradicate fatigue, tiredness and low mood.
Guided Creative Vinyasa Yoga practice
Over 6 sessions you will:
– Learn the yogic sun salutations and creative variations
– Flow through creative and strengthening class sequences
– Explore and play with more challenging postures and transitions
– Enjoy expanding your physical and mental capacity in a safe space
– Feel strong and confident in your body with lots of movement guidance.
Philosophy and Mind Wellness workshops
Over the 6 session you will:
– Understand what is Karma Yoga
– Study the meaning of the 5 Yamas, wholesome action, behaviours, attitudes
– Explore the 5 Niyamas, inner observances, correctly orientating our inner world
– Elucidate teachings from the ancient texts for deeper understanding of Karma, Samsara, Dharma and Nirvana.
Anatomy & Body Awareness workshops
Over 6 sessions you will:
– Learn detailed muscle anatomy, attachment, insertion
– Understand the function of key muscles
– Learn to recognise muscle imbalances
– Go deeper into understanding how to strengthen and release muscle groups
– Apply muscle anatomy to your yoga asana for better understanding
Evening guided Relaxation, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Meditation
In the evenings, the focus will be on calming, centering and cooling practices to help bring the perfect balance to your body and nervous system throughout the week, ensuring perfect rest.

Summer Karma 50 hr Yoga Program
LEARN TO TEACH FUN CREATIVE VINYASA FLOW SEQUENCES
For new teachers who would love to add additional teaching skills and knowledge to their yoga toolbox and share it with others, we are offering this week as a 50hr continuing education program with Yoga Alliance international.
Additional Schedule includes 3.5 additional daily hours in:
– In depth Asana posture workshopping, propping, modification
– Vinyasa Teaching theory and Methodology
– Mini teaching practicums
