The Path of Action

Karma means action or deed and relates to the principle of cause and effect, where every action, thought, and intention we have creates ripples in the world and impacts our future.

Karma Yoga, the yoga of action, is about acting in alignment with a higher purpose without attachment to the results. This week introduces you to the concepts around karma and how practicing Karma Yoga, the path of right action, transforms daily actions into opportunities for spiritual growth.

Understanding karma gives you back your sense of Autonomy, helps you navigate life with greater awareness and responsibility, develops mindfulness, reduces suffering, and fosters compassionate action.

And the fruit of this path comes in the peeling away of the conditioning and identifications that no longer serve you or the greater whole and ReWeaving in a Wholesome Selfless ego that keeps the your Soul light and your intentions in goodness and truth.

Advanced Abdominal
Kriyas

In this section, we’ll focus on advanced abdominal kriyas—purification techniques that cleanse the digestive system and internal organs. These practices actively massage the internal organs, tonify the core abdominal myo-fascia and diaphragm, enhance energy flow, improve digestion, and release emotional blockages.

A healthy organ and digestive system is key to physical vitality and mental emotional clarity. These practices deeply cleanse internal organs, improves digestion, and noticeably boosts energy levels.

Doing a short session of Kriyas each morning mirrors the benefits to a long period of cardio.

Dynamic Strengthening

In Summer Karma, you'll engage in dynamic, creative Yoga flows that combine strength, fluidity, mindfulness and most of all, right intention.

These practices are designed to challenge your body , generate heat and detox, while nurturing your mind and perspective, offering a balanced approach to physical and mental development. Vinyasa is a Yoga modality that moves body with breath and mind as one and strengthens and stabilizes your presence, preparing you for deeper spiritual practice.

This week, you'll increase personal will, strength, flexibility, overall mind-body coordination and global functionality.

Wisdom Workshops

Our body wisdom workshops dives into the anatomy and biomechanics of our feet, knees, hips, shoulders and arms, exploring common postural issues that come from poor daily habits such as sitting, but also mental emotional factors such as stress and fear.

You'll explore how to read your postural alignment and how to heal them through corrective, releasing and strengthening practices.

By understanding the biomechanics of your limbs in their everyday expression, you can prevent injuries and support healthy posture. Proper alignment from the ground up is crucial for long-term health and well-being.

This week, you'll learn to improve your posture and correct poor habits and conditioning.

Explore the philosophies around Karma Yoga, focusing on how to live in a way that creates positive, wholesome potential in our lives. Together we will reflect on the Yamas and Niyamas, which are the external behaviours and internal attitudes that guide us on a spiritually sound path towards greater clarity and truth about ourselves.

This week implements practical ways to integrate Karma Yoga into your daily life, allowing you to act with greater purpose and compassion. Karma Yoga teaches you how to live with integrity and intention, enhancing both personal well-being, spiritual connection and your impact on the world. It cultivates good purifying karma, that helps you release from the suffering of a tightly bound ego, increasing mindfulness in daily actions, and deepening your connection with the wider community in a sense of selfless service.

Bhavana Meditations Cultivating Wholesome Mind States

In Summer Karma, you'll be guided through meditations based on the supreme Bhavas—our most wholesome mental states and attitudes that promote well-being and peace.

These meditations will help you cultivate wholesome mindsets such as loving-kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity, transforming how you relate to yourself and others.

Your mental state and attitude shapes your entire experience of life, making it essential to cultivate a loving inner disposition and release resistances that arise in relation to these expressions.

Practicing Bhavana helps develops emotional resilience, inner peace, and a compassionate outlook.

I decided to go after being inspired by a close friend who went previously, and I'm truly happy and grateful I did. I learned so much not only in terms of alignment, technique and anatomy (the workshops were fantastic), but also about the philosophy of yoga as well as meditation. Although I found the week to be physically and emotionally challenging at times (as I expected!), it was also incredibly satisfying on a spiritual level and very transformative for me.
