Exactly as the name implies, spring is all about ‘springing’ back to life. The season runs from complete inertia to gradual bloom. The quality of energy is rising, reaching, expanding and flowering, becoming more colorful. It’s about coming out of our dormant form and slowly learning how to express ourselves again. This week teaches us how to be gentle with ourselves, to move slow, to cultivate greater awareness as we integrate into our bodies after a long period of rest, sedentary lifestyle or perhaps even injury.

Winter marks the end of fall, when all has released, transformed and dissolved back into the ground, ready to reinvent the wheel. We go deeper into stillness with Chakra focused practices to balance our subtle energy body and mind. Old cycles and patterns are revealed and encouraged to release so that space for a new possibility can arise. We allow ourselves to enter into greater quietude, witness principle, timeless presence and equanimity. Like the faceless being of deep sleep, there is no agenda, only void. From this vantage point, True Nature is realised.
